A Procktail to get you in the mood this Valentine's Day

whey protein shake

Valentine’s Day is on the horizon and we’ve been doing our research to come up with a Protein Cocktail (aka Procktail) that will not only get knock your socks off, but to help you make this Valentine’s a year to remember – for both you and your partner!

Ingredients (makes 2 servings):

  • 250ml Almond Milk
  • 1 Chocolate whey’d Sachet
  • 1 Banana
  • 25g of oats

Directions:

Add to a blender and whizz for 30 seconds. Serve in a sexy glass and consume on a bed of roses.

Bananas

As everyone knows Bananas are one of the best sources of potassium and this helps counteract the effects of salty foods. Salty foods not only reduce blood flow to the genitals, which make is more difficult to reach organism, they also make you bloated – not good for a Valentine’s evening in!

Potassium also helps boost the production of testosterone, the male sex hormone, responsible for improving libido and helping you last longer in bed.

Bananas are also rich in the minerals Bromelain and Vitamin B, both of which are known to be regulators of testosterone & help increase sexual desire and overall virility.

Oats

Not only are oats a great slow release energy source to keep your engine running for longer, they’re also a great source of L-arginine, an amino acid that has been used to treat erectile dysfunction & has been shown to improve blood flow to the clitoris.

Oats also help reduce cholesterol levels. High cholesterol has shown to reduce blood flow and we all know that its not just the heart that’s going to be effected here!

Chocolate

Chocolate works its magic in all sorts of ways (is there anything it can’t do?!) and not just because it tastes good.

It contains magnesium and also helps increase the happy hormones - serotonin and dopamine in the brain, which help make us happier and reduces stress levels to help get us in the mood.

No wonder chocolate has been a Valentine’s Day treat forever!
