"I'm lactose intolerant, can I take WHEYD?"
This is a question I get asked around 2.4 million times a day.
Okay, I exaggerate a little but the point is that most of us are actually lactose intolerant as adults (65% of adults are reported to be).
And yes you can take WHEYD if you are lactose intolerant.
That's kind of the point of WHEYD.
So if that's all you needed to know, thanks for reading. Or feel free to read on.
Head over to this blog on "Why is WHEYD Stomach Friendly" but as a brief overview:
- We filter out over 99.2% of the lactose. It doesn't have to be 100% removed for it to be fine on our stomachs. Most people with lactose intolerance can have milk in their tea & still feel fine (myself included)
- Most protein powders have around 4% lactose (Whey Concentrate) so if you're like me and the other 2/3rd's of adults, you won't be able to drink these
- WHEYD is a form of Isolate = Hydroisolate. So not only do we filter out all the fat and sugar, we partially breakdown the amino acids to help you digest them. ANOTHER reason why WHEYD is stomach friendly
See the video below from a registered Dietician:
Stomach Friendly Guarantee.
Obviously everyone is different and we could never say "you'll 100% never get an upset stomach" as you may be super sensitive to lactose or even mistake your sensitivity for a dairy intolerance.
So if you wanted to try WHEYD and didn't like it for ANY reason, then we'll give you a full refund. We've not had to give one yet!
